ReachSci Society is Officially a Cambridge University Society. A Historic Step for Outstanding Scientific Research.

Cambridge University ReachSci Society, based in Cambridge, aims to promote scientific research by enabling underrepresented individuals to do outstanding research in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM). Through the Mini-PhD programme, ReachSci Society aims to:

1.       Equip underrepresented high school to PhD students with key academic, research, professional and personal skills through high-quality workshops that have been designed by ReachSci

2.       Enhance equality, diversity, and inclusion in universities, especially in postgraduate degrees, by helping underrepresented students become outstanding applicants when applying for a university or a job. 

3.     Enable anyone from anywhere to attend high-quality conferences in different disciplines that address world-pressing challenges.

"We look forward to offering the best accessible and hands-on scientific research training in the world," says Mohammed Alawami, the founder and president of ReachSci Society, who is leading a team of passionate students who strive for excellence in the scientific field. The society’s efforts have yielded collaborations with prominent institutions and universities, including Cambridge Global Challenges, a strategic research initiative at the University of Cambridge, which attempts to achieve the university's mission of contributing to society by focusing on the most indigent half of the world's population.

Participating in ReachSci programmes will equip students with the key tools and skills to carry out outstanding hands-on academic research. Hence, promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion in universities and companies. This will enable anyone from anywhere to do outstanding research and to be given the opportunity to participate in high-quality conferences for free.
