Approximately 1.6 million (27%) Zimbabweans are suffering from hypertension. About 75% do not adhere to the recommended diet because of prohibitive costs and the unavailability of healthy foods. Our first solution is a nutritious low low-sodium food bar made from natural, wholesome local ingredients to help control and manage hypertension. Existing alternatives are expensive, have high sodium content, are seasonal and unhealthy. Our team has an expert in public health, a biochemist, a finance expert and a marketing and business administration expert. This year, we plan to conduct all the laboratory work, get all the registrations and start mass production.

Middle East faces complex challenges, including rapid lifestyle changes, increased participation of women in the workforce and higher education, and regional conflicts that affect stability. These factors directly impact food security and access to nutritious meals. Our solution is a self-heating, ready-to-eat meal designed to support individual health needs, with safe and accessible packaging suitable for all age groups, including people with disabilities. We utilize biodegradable bioplastics for the outer packaging, which is also plantable with seeds adapted to saline and sandy soils. The inner pouches are designed for recycling or composting, and the packaging is compatible with hydroponic systems, promoting sustainable environmental practices.

We are a sustainable insect production company revolutionizing access to affordable, protein-rich food and feed in Kenya. With rising food insecurity and environmental strain from traditional livestock, our solution harnesses crickets and mealworms—nutrient-dense, eco-friendly alternatives. Starting operations this year, we produce premium insect-based products for human and animal consumption, with proven market need (already sold 63 samples through 2 pilot sales) . Our competitive edge lies in local sourcing, vertical farming, cold chain storage, and expert-led R&D. Backed by a dynamic team of agricultural scientists, food technologists, and innovators, we’re building a scalable model that nourishes communities, regenerates the planet, and meets the growing demand for healthier, sustainable protein options.
